Labels of Love

Nowadays in a relationship it is difficult to label it. If you've just met a person, what could you name him/her as? We've got thousands of names and labels, making it even harder to really know what he/she is for you. Friends? Boyfriend, buddy or fuck buddy? Date, exclusive or none-exclusive?

Each label has a different meaning. Can one be a mix of multiple labels, or is it only one label for one sort of relationship? Is it impossible to be a lover and friend? And when is it appropriate to label a person?

Tuesday 29 of June

Today I said goodbye to one of my best friends. I wont see her before school starts again. Can't believe it, it's so unreal! It's official, I'm the only one of the fab four who's left in Norway...

Anyways this is what I'm wearing today.

Byee and bye !

Body Scrub

We all know people get influenced by the media. Especially when it comes to our body, beauty and looks. People obsess about using the right products and constantly test new technology on our bodies. Is this healthy? Are we absolutely sure that we don't harm our own health just to look good?

Peels, waxes, lotions, creams, urbs, pills, sprays and different makeup we apply to our body everyday is an attempt to improve ourselves. When did au natural not make it? When can a girl go au natural and still be looked at as sexy? And when we try out a new body scrub, are we trying to peel of our inner flaws?

Picture perfect

Is there something called perfect? What is the definition on perfect? Is it what everyone is seeing, or is it the truth that makes it perfect? Can a flaw be perfect?

Is there something called the perfect relationship? Can two people make each other happy enough to call themselves perfect? Is there a list of what they have to do that makes them perfect? Are there a set of rules they have to follow, and is it the society that makes those rules?

Does everyone from birth have a set of rules in their mind that tells them what is perfect? Are we all going around, having different definitions on what's perfect and not? And if so, how can we ever know what's perfect?

And if it is impossible to be hundred per cent perfect, are all "perfect" people picture perfect

Clouds

Clouds, that is in more than one. No sun, 15 degrees. Have to wear rain jacket because I don't want to get wet. Yesterday whilst walking with my dog it started poring rain. Yeah, great.

Since I posted the worlds longest post yesterday (I hope you read it) I'm just going to say HI and GOODBYE. Tomorrow I'm having some sizzlah-time with a very dear friend of mine. We don't have the chance to see each other as much as we want to, that's why we're having a trip to the beach tomorrow. Can't wait, she's fab. And I'm also saying HI to my bestfriend, she's been to Paris, France for a week now - it was about time she came back (with a present to me).

Well..That's about it. GOODBYE

Summer

Season of sex more like. Seems as though everyone is thinking on one thing only : get laid laid laid!

Every guy is cute. You could even find a fuuugly guy - but who'd know? "He was so hot, I swear - everyone stared at him," a friend might say after two weeks in Majorca. Let's twist the sentence. "He was 'hot', I swear, no one could stop glaring at him he was so ugly." So one can never really be sure if anyone is saying the truth when it comes to summer flings.

When on holiday, the first thing we girls do is to find our bikinis and sun lotions. This is followed with a trip to the pool/beach. We find our sunbeds with a good view of all guests at the hotel. We then, carefully, point out who's hot and who's not. And how do we get the lucky ones attention?
A dip in the pool, playing with a ball - and WOPS! Did we just throw our ball in direction to the oh-so cute boys? Chit-chat leads to a drink at the pool bar later same night.

What happens after this varies after what sort of person you want to express yourself as. Picnics, meals, shopping at markets, the beach(can be risky as you may see someone absolutely too-sexy-to-handle men), cycling, sight-seeing or a day-trip somewhere. The choices are endless, but it all comes to an end.

After two weeks of fun, flirting, hot kisses and maybe multiple orgasms, you come to a good-bye. At the time it's sad, but you both promise to write letters and keep in touch. Nowadays you've might given him your facebook or myspace. But how likely is it that you ever see each other again? Have one ever heard about a summer fling lasted longer than leaves at fall? Is summer simply never the time to get a serious relationship? And if so - when can people get a relationship? Is it impossible to build a relationship with a summer flirt, even how much you clicked?

The Bitch

I had a haircut today, didn't cut much though. On the way home to take the bus I had to wait about 20 minutes before it showed up, yeah that's how I want to spend my summer (if you think about it, every secound you don't do anything is a waste of summertime!).

Now I'm going to the beach with some friends. Today it's st.hans, I don't know what that would mean for english people/none-norwegian. But it's an excuse for people to gather and make a big bonfire.

I've been thinking, shouldn't the beach be called "the bitch"? Think about all the hours you've been thinking and dreading about going there at summer. Haven't you been eating healthier, worked out and obsessed about being fit for the beach? Is it really worth it? A person probably use most of their time before summer to get their body more beach-perfect, then about two months after that it's over.
Do you agree?

The last meal

Today I had my last school breakfast at 8 o´clock with my three best girls. We like to call ourselves as the fabulous four (of course we're not serious...). It was a fab breakfast we'd put together, but time slipped by and we managed to get at school about fifteen minutes late. And since I'm the only fab four who isn't in the same class as the others I needed an excuse. "uh.. I overslept?" - yeah, great.

So I guess it's summer now, but why doesn't it feel like it? People say it's because we haven't had as good weather like we use to before summer, but is it really sun and rising tempeture that makes me feel summer-ish? Nu-uuh, I hope it'll show up adventually :-)

Am I the only one who isn't feeling the summerbrize?

The best of the best

Also known as summer. Season of long, warm nights. Flirting, shopping, sun, hitting the beach and having quality time with your favorite people.

I absolutely love the summer, what's not to like? Except the allergi, there's nothing wrong with it. And my summer starts tomorrow as it's the last day at school. Then it's me, friends and two months of lazyness!

You cannot imagine how much I needed this holiday. School doesn't make my schedual as free as I hoped for, and my job does not help me at all. But then again, I couldn't live my life and shop as much as I do, if I didn't have those monthly incomes. Espacially since I'm saving up for the best trip ever! MALTA 2011, with the best girl in the world. Three weeks of endless fun.'

But that's not until next summer, so let's focus on this one. I'm not doing anything special this summer, not going anywhere. FUN. But I like to think of it that I save all the fun for next summer.

So now I hope you get why I blog - because I'm staying home when all my friends aren't :)
